Meet the team

Steve Ellis

Steve Ellis founded the business in 2004 after spending 20 years managing security installations for banks in London. He retrained as an electrician and found his passion, which led to the launch of his own electrical services venture. Now a well-respected family business, Ellis Electrical Services goes from strength to strength every year under Steve’s experienced leadership.

Jake Ellis

Jake Ellis is Steve’s son and has been a part of the business since leaving school in 2015. Having progressed from apprentice to fully qualified electrician, Jake is now a pivotal part of the team as the business grows into a joint father and son enterprise. Jake loves all aspects of the role but is particularly interested in smart technology and automated systems.

Ben Thomas

Ben is the newest member of our team. Ben has worked in the industry since 2006 and has more than 10 years’ dedicated experience in the electrical distribution field. He specialised in domestic and commercial electrics in 2019. He is solutions-focussed and enjoys fault finding and exceeding customer expectations.
